I just tried this and it's super easy. With a click of a button (and a twitter account), Amazon will automatically tweet for you, set up up as a follower of @amazonvideo, and put $5 of credit into your Amazon account for any video on demand or digital download purchase. Completely free! And you can always unfollow and delete the tweet after you get the credit.

If you're overwhelmed by shopping and parties and relatives overstaying their welcome this December, you might consider trying Safeway's home delivery service. I haven't tried it yet myself but I have a few friends who swear by it. Their delivery windows are as narrow as 1 hour. It certainly sounds convenient!
Ok maybe not magic, but I absolutely love this spatula and use it for stir fry, scrambled eggs, or pretty much anything I've got going on the stove. It doesn't melt or heat up if you leave it on the pan, doesn't scrape up the bottom of your nonstick cookware, and looks super stylish.

After several hours of parking and shopping craziness today, I decided to resort to online shopping... and came across this great deal on bedroom slippers! I bought these cute ones, normally $20, for only $7.89 (including tax & shipping).
Yup, Hallmark has put out a coupon for $5 off with no minimum purchase... so that's pretty much $5 free to spend on Christmas gifts, wrapping paper, cards, etc. Sounds pretty good, huh?

Decided to cash in on the Sfwy deli sandwich deal this week... and it's sweeter than I thought! Through Tuesday, when you buy a deli sandwich you get BOTH a free 20oz Coke (or Sprite, or Dasani) AND a coupon for a free deli sandwich for next time.
The deal I've been waiting for... all Freddos are only $2 on Fridays in July. Time to sacrifice the diet for a glass of frozen sugar and coffee goodness. And the chocolate that they use is fantastic.
I have entered into a period of my life when I rarely eat chocolate that isn't dark, and certainly don't pay $3 for it. But today at the Rivermark Safeway I ran into my newfound employee friend Robert over by the Easter display, and we chatted about our childhoods where we'd receive baskets filled with eggs and candy and toys. Those, and that annoying plastic "grass" that we'd still be finding pieces of at Halloween. Our conclusion? It just isn't Easter without Easter chocolate (or Peeps, but nothing could put me in enough of a holiday high to buy a box of those!).
The bad news: it's only good March 23rd before 10:30am (or earlier if they run out), with a beverage purchase.
This coupon is pretty nice if you use it right. It's $10 off, with only $20 minimum purchase. So if you take a huge group there the $10 off is pocket change, but if you order pasta and salad for 2 or 3, you're getting 30 - 50% off!

What a good excuse to check out the new Pinkberry in the Stanford mall, or to splurge after a dinner on Santana Row. Is it too cold for froyo? Never! :)
Holy molies that's a lot of red! And that was only about half of it. Captured today at the Rivermark Safeway, Santa Clara.
Despite being white as can be, I navigate the aisles of my local 99 Ranch Market at least once a month, tiptoeing politely around the Chinese grandmothers and getting great deals on not only rice, sauces, and tasty asian foods, but on fresh fruits and veggies! If you have ever made a stir fry, curry, or other asian-centric dish and did all your shopping at Safeway, you paid too much!
Jamba Juice can even make oatmeal look tasty... yummmm :)
This is one of my dinner-and-beer-after-a-long-day places. And with $5 off it's easy to justify an extra appetizer :) Enjoy!
